Smarter Polls, Less Clicking

You know what’s annoying? Setting up a poll and having to manually configure every little thing before you even get to the important part. Toggle this, check that, scroll down, click again. We’ve all been there.

At Letsfind, we’re kind of obsessed with removing unnecessary clicks. Every tap, every toggle, every extra step – we ask ourselves: does the user really need to do this? And if the answer is no, we find a way to handle it.

So here’s our latest move.

Letsfind Now Reads Between the Lines

When you create a scheduling poll on Letsfind, there’s a toggle that lets you mark your event as “whole day” – meaning no specific start or end times, just the date. Think: weekend trip, camping trip, birthday party.

The thing is, most people already tell us what kind of event it is – right in the title. If you type “Ski Weekend” or “Beach Day”, chances are you don’t need time slots. If you type “Team Standup” or “Board Meeting”, you probably do.

So we taught Letsfind to pick up on that.

As you type your poll title, Letsfind now automatically detects whether your event is an all-day thing – and sets the toggle for you. No extra clicks needed.

Type your title. We’ll handle the rest.

Yes, That’s Machine Learning

Behind the scenes, we’re using machine learning to make this happen. The model was trained on thousands of poll titles — in multiple languages — to learn what an all-day event looks like versus one with specific times.

You’re Still in Control

This isn’t some “we know better than you” situation. The prediction is a suggestion, not a decision. You can always toggle it yourself, and the moment you do, Letsfind respects your choice and stops suggesting.

It’s a small thing, honestly. But that’s kind of the point. The best features are the ones you barely notice – because they just work.

Simplicity Is the Feature

We recently did a complete rewrite of our poll creation flow, and smart predictions like this are part of that mission. Every decision we make comes back to one question: how do we make this simpler?

Not more powerful. Not more customizable. Simpler.

Because you came here to find a date for dinner with friends – not to configure software.

Give it a try. Create a scheduling poll and watch what happens when you type your title.

Pretty neat, right?

Cheers from Switzerland.
